• If you must cancel your appointment, please call 231-600-7466 to speak to a Novello staff member.
Late Cancellations, No Shows & Non-Sufficient Funds Fees
- A cancellation is considered late when a patient contacts Novello Specialty Clinic to cancel their scheduled appointment with less than 24 hours advance notice.
- A “no-show” is determined when a patient misses their scheduled appointment without contacting Novello Specialty Clinic. Failure to be present at the time of a scheduled appointment without a prior call cancelling the appointment, will be recorded in your medical record as a “no-show”.
- A non-sufficient funds fee is determined when a checking account does not have enough money to cover a transaction, resulting in a returned check.
Effective March 13, 2024
It is Novello Specialty Clinics Policy to charge a fee for late cancellations and “no-show” appointments at our discretion. This fee is not covered by insurance.
- First late cancellation or “no-show”: No Fee
- Second late cancellation or “no-show”: $50.00 Fee (will be billed to your account and must be paid prior to rescheduling appointment)
Effective July 29, 2024
It is Novello Specialty Clinics Policy to charge a non-sufficient funds fee for returned checks.
Non-sufficient funds fee: $45.00
